Evangelism is our calling to proclaim the good news of the victory of God over sin, death, and Satan through the cross, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ.  Practical Theology involves the study and implementation of ways in which to proclaim the Gospel, from one-on-one to mass evangelism. Effective evangelism involves A Clear Gospel Message (Rom 1:16; 10:17; 1 Cor. 315:3-8); A Life of Integrity (2 Cor. 4:1-2; Phil 2:14-16; 2 Tim 2:20-26); Dependence Upon the Power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:48-49), a Compassion for the Lost (Matt 9:36-38; Jude 20-23), and Grounding in Prayer (Acts 4:29-31).
