Familiarity with the Vestments used in the Anglican liturgies is essential for ordained persons, as well as laypersons serving in liturgical ministries and the Altar Guild. While at first these vestments can be unfamiliar, they help to mark the sacred nature of what occurs during worship and are central to the liturgical tradition of the Anglican church.
