Dr. Lyle Schrag has served congregations for over 40 years in both the United States and Canada as a Senior Pastor and as a Seminary Professor at the Associated Canadian Theological Schools. He has consulted with churches in a wide variety of denominations and coached pastoral and congregational leaders in a wide spectrum of leadership issues. His areas of special interest include pastoral ministry, congregational governance, and transitional leadership. He is the author and designer of the Heart for Ministry, an instrument used in the process of ministry assessment for leadership development. He also has extensive experience in training Church Boards having developed the Best Practices for Church Board workshops. His education includes degrees from Wheaton College (BA,MA in Biblical Studies); Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (D. Min., post-doctoral work in Education.) Married with three children and five children, Lyle and Jane Schrag make their home in Birch Bay, Washington.
