7 Ecumenical Councils
Point 5 of the Theological Statement of the Anglican Church in North America reads
"Concerning the seven Councils of the undivided Church, we affirm the teaching of the first four Councils and the Christological clarifications of the fifth, sixth and seventh Councils, in so far as they are agreeable to the Holy Scriptures."
The first four Councils are The Council of Nicea in 325, The Council of Constantinople in 381, The Council of Ephesus in 431, The Council of Chalcedon in 451.
Councils 5, 6, and 7 are The Second Council of Constantinople in 553, The Third Council of Constantinople 680-681, and the Second Council of Nicea in 787]]
